My son and his family are planning on going, but as for a time, it is when I can get them all up and around.

Will be leaving from Highland Park area.

Damn, another battery went South for the winter.

Got up, eat, drank a cup of coffee, BUNDLED up as my thermo said 46*.

Hunted for my gloves and finally found them, right where I had put them last fall, told mom 'see ya later'.

Called son and told him to get his arse in gear I'd be there in 30 to 45 minutes.

Went out, hit the bump stick on the Chevy and nuttin, no lights, nuttin, not even a click.

Called son back and told him to go back to bed.     He had gone to Knoxville last night for the Monster Truck shin dig, and he was tired.     Never had to tell him twice.    Told him I'd be out to the shop later so to turn off the alarm system.

Put the charger on it and still nuttin.    Checked my ground cables and they all looked good.    Figured, well while I'm here, I might as well get the battery out of the Chevy.

Even if I had a good battery, it would be too late to leave and get to Freedom Rock before they left unless I run over a dollar all the way out there.     Too damn many Iowa State Patrol to do that, so came back in and went back to bed.   BJ got up to go to grand daughters Soccer game, and I got up again to drink coffee with her.

She left, I went back out to the garage and there was a dead short on one cell.   I forgot when I had gotten this battery, but I took it back to where we buy them for the shop.    He took it to the back and I followed.   He threw the tester on it and nuttin honey.    He started checking cells and hit the one dead in the water.

He looked at the battery and we never pulled any tabs when we put it in.   He pulled a couple of tabs and said this battery is toast but it is still under warranty.   Paid the difference and came back home.    Put the battery in and she fired right off and was setting there putting out 14.2 on the volt meter.   Took it for a short drive and about froze everything on my body.    Came back home, parked it in it's stall and shut everything up.

So I look at it this way, the Chevy Trike saved me a good cold or pee-moan-ya this morning.   It is currently 59*

If it hits 65* I'll take it out and run it for an hour or so, to make sure the battery has a good charge in it.

It made it to 73* while I was on a 45 mile run.      Stopped at a Choke & Puck.

I didn't think you could screw up a hamburger, but believe me it can and was done today.

I got a quck question, how the hell do ya burn one 1/2 of the pattie and the other 1/2 is still raw in da middle?

Took 2 bites and pushed it back.    Paid my bill and left.    Was going to bring the Burger home for the dog but I didn't want to poison her.

Had Fuzzy, Brad and Tuppers  meet us at Freedom Rock outside of Greenfield for a ride. Went down to Corning on some county roads then back north to Marne then Elk Horn to eat at the Danish Inn. We split up after dinner us and tuppers heading home and Fuzzy and Brad heading east on highway 44. good seeing you guys again. If anyone wants to next month is open for a ride.

Kevin, follow the Therapist's orders to a Tee.

They say it helps.

I never follow orders too well so I can't vouch for that.

What did ya do to the shoulder?

Dr's are suggesting I get a shoulder replacement.

I'm still trying to decide which way I'm going.

Heal quick and correctly Buddy.
