Hi all. Just joined and this is my first post. I just picked a a Valkyrie today with the plan of repairing it. I intend to use the factory 2 tone layout with custom colors. The bike is currently solid black. Can someone direct me to a site tha may have the dimensions and layout of the factory scheme. Lacking that, I will just provide my painter some pics and get it close.

Thanks, Rick

I think the latter is your best bet. Unless, you can find a fellow Valk owner in your area where more exacting measurements could be made. Welcome to the insanity! They are great MCs.

You shouldn't have any problem finding someone who will let you measure out the bike. If you would put your location on your profile page, they could figure out how close you are, and make a plan/ Someone is always looking for a reason to ride  cooldude

Any particular reason you want to go with the factory look? So many options.

Welcome to the Valkyrie family!

I just went through all this with my Valkyrie. Decided to have it repainted the factory pattern but with different colors. Ended up being a nightmare going through painter after painter because none of them had a clue what they were doing.

Finally found an outstanding painter and told him what I wanted. He made a good point about what I was thinking. Asked me why I would spend all this money for a custom paint job only to have it look like a factory bike. Nobody outside of the Valkyrie community would have any idea that the bike was anything special. I ended up going with a totally custom paint job, using my original color choices, and I am far more pleased with the bike than what I would have had I just gone with the OEM paint scheme. It's custom and everybody, Valk owners or not, knows it! Just a thought.
