I have been searching for summer gloves that are vented/breath.  I've been using some thin work gloves from Home Depot with deerskin palms which are nice but too hot.
I see them anywhere from $22.00 to $80.00... then found these for $17.00 with outstanding reviews.
Here's the link if anyone is interested. http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/14/67/903/746/ITEM/River-Road-Pecos-Mesh-Gloves.aspx

Thanks Doug, I ride with the same gloves in all seasons. I did buy some winter gloves for the mountains last year. Seem like nice gloves at a good price. cooldude

Update...Don't buy these they are very cheaply made junk. I'm returning them and will keep using my deerskin from Home Depot. Sorry, looked like a good deal.

You might want to look at some of the sport gloves...   ( k-mart , Wal-Mart or sports shop )

Thanks TJ. I've seen golf gloves in Wally World, looked like it would make a good summer glove.

Check out Mechanix.  http://www.mechanix.com/search/all-gloves  I have an older pair of M-pact 3's that I ve had for a few years.  A bit pricey, but I'm guessing a hand transplant wouldn't be cheap either.

I wear wrist length, lightweight summer gloves, but they are armored.  I used to wear mechanics gloves and they are very comfortable, but I have no doubt nearly worthless in a fall and slide.

I usually go to one of the local dealer open houses  every couple years and pick up a pair on a closeout table for cheap(er).

Best summer gloves I ever owned. Rev,It Fly by RevZilla.  Bit pricey, paid $75 for mine 3yrs ago, $89 now but will buy another pair when these need replacing. Good folks to deal with. Buy a size bigger than you wear. I wear mine 8mths out of the year here in Atlanta.

There is a motorcycle store chain called Cycle Gear that sells a pretty good variety of biker gear. I bought a really good paid of mesh topped summer gloves that aren't too warm during the hot months, but I looked on their website and found different choices. Many were on sale for reasonable prices, some were fairly pricey, but they had a lot to choose from. There is the website and they have stores in St Pete and Sarasota that I know of. Worth a try.

Cycle Gear has a line of glove made by Sedici that are vented but have finger pads and knuckle shields and are very comfortable. I've had mine for two summers now and they are not only comfortable but they have held up well. IIRC they run about $40.

I bought a set of Tourmaster fingerless Gel gloves.
Mesh back with protection in the typical places. Nice thing about these is that they have pull tabs for easy removal. They really let your hands breathe and stay cool in Summer.
As has been mentioned buy a size larger than you think you need.

I like the Home Depot Impact Pro CG gloves from Mechanix.  They are low priced and good quality.  I also buy my impact glasses from Home Depot, I go thru a lot of glasses during the year.
