Anybody installed this clutch? If so how do the compare to the OEM clutches?

I am about to replace the clutch on my 98 (see post clutch problems) and would like to hear from anyone who has installed the Barnett system.

Thanks in advance

Why bother? The stock clutch holds just fine.

Failure at 65,000 is not fine to me, I rode my last Honda 80,000 and sold it, the last time I saw it was at 91,000 still the same clutch. I was younger and rode that bike pretty hard for 12 years, the same amount of time I have owned my valk. I am just thinking like many other Honda parts (wheel bearings, etc) I may be able to get a better quality part for less money else where.

There are plenty of people that have gone better than 100,000 miles on OEM clutches. I'm pushing 180 hp and still running a stock clutch, with two stock springs.
Your clutch failure, if it is indeed failed, may have nothing to do with the fiber disks. So how will Kevlar help?
Are the Barnett disks cheaper?
If the fiber disks failed, I'd be willing to bet it had more to do with what you did to them than a failure of them to perform.
I'll bet they are not worn, they might be glazed, but I doubt they are worn out. Or there is some other component failure.
From your earlier description
If the clutch lever will not pull all the way back to the bars... it is most likely the damper plate.
If it hasn't damaged the basket it may be as simple as replacing the damper plate and putting the original disks and plates back in. Keep them all in order upon dis assembly so they can go back together the same way.
Oddly enough with all the beatings my bikes have seen, none of them ever blew a damper plate.
If you say the clutch does not slip... the fiber disks are not the issue.
