She's in the hospital.  They don't THINK that the tumor is malignant, but they did do a exploratory cath on Friday, and were able to get some tissue for pathology.  Path results SHOULD be in today.  The tumor does not seem to involve ANY of the heart tissue itself, and does NOT appear to have arterial supply.  Essentially, they think it's a calcium deposit, inside her left ventricle, that is blocking bloodflow.

If pathology is good they will probably do the surgery sometime this week.

They have been keeping her on a fine line between consciousness and not.  Allowing her to wake up enough to open her eyes ocassionally, before putting her back to sleep.  They allowed a blanket from home to be brought in and I guess it's the aroma of home, but it soothes her a lot and she's a lot more restfull and peaceful when she has that.

Overall, I think the prognosis is good.  The surgery will be a delicate one, as the growth is INSIDE her heart... but things look as good as they can at this point.

No path results today.  ALL the test material was heart tissue, and NONE was from the tumor.  Another MRI tomorrow and more waiting.
