I call it a "spirited" ride.  Did it get more "spirited" after we parted?

I got home at 5:30 after a short visit with my brother.  Watched the end if the Texans game.  Sad

Really enjoyed getting to visit all of my Northern friends.  Thanks again Woody.  U really didn't have to.

Hope all had a fun and safe ride home.

All I kept thinking about on the ride back was what I would do if my front tire went down at the 95+ MPH that we were going at times.    Cheesy    coolsmiley

Spirited is a good term, Yes.

I was probably the only one who got rained on. It drizzled on me about the last 5 - 10 mins of my ride. It was great seeing everyone and meeting with some new faces cooldude

I only thought about that because it happened to chauffeur while riding in Florida earlier this year. As you saw, I kept the pedal to the metal until we turned on to Hwy 287 as there were many speed traps on that road today.    Smiley

We were pretty lucky on the way down to Centerville.

If those two cops on the West access road of 75 hadn't been jawing, probably ALL of us would have gotten a ticket -  75mpg in a 60 zone.  Embarrassed

But since Valkpilot was the pace setter, I'm sure he would have taken care of em for us  coolsmiley

a) We weren't going that fast in a zone that slow at that time.

2) We were moving with the flow of traffic, i.e., not dramatically faster than the cars blocking us from the officers consulting each other on the service road median.

c) Senator, I can neither confirm nor deny that I have any recollection of the events under inquiry.

I rolled into the garage about 7:30 pm.  5-19 took Disco, Sidecar, and I on the grand tour of his neck of the woods, then spit us out on 377 south of Granbury for our spirited ride home.

Negative.  A VERY light drizzle hit me in the last half mile.  (:

We got in about 5, after stopping in at my parents to pick up the kids.  They had a great day at the zoo, we had a great day on the Valkyrie.  Sounds like a good day was had by all.

Good to hear everybody made it back ok!!  cooldude I made it back a little earlier that than VP, Disco and Sidecar. I was holding back the whole time because i didn't realize  Angry you guys wanted a spirited ride. Either way I had a great time. At 6:30 I rolled in with just over 400 miles. What a great weekend  cooldude Grin

On the way back we detoured thru West and had a view of the devastation caused by the fertilizer plant explosion. The site of the plant explosion was pretty much cleaned up. One school had nothing but a concrete slab , the other still vacant and lot's of houses are being rebuild or replaced. It was different than I expected after seeing it on TV.
