My new "shorty" Clearview windshield arrived and got it installed today. I've gone through my bike from stem to stern and fixed or replaced everything worn or broken. Finally got both broken tabbed side covers replaced. Well almost everything, I'm still blowing fuses for my light bar.
Feels good to get stuff done, also finished two projects at home that were way overdue...
Looking forward to riding Saturday. Hope the Lovebugs are gone, I only hit a few in North Tampa/Pasco Saturday.

Bill, Maybe you'll see some leaf changing? Get out of N.Y. before the first snow.

I'm supposed to have some finish work done on our front porch. If it can be done without me being present, I might try hooking up at the breakfast stop in Brooksville, getting there around 9:30. Chances are the porch work will be done later in the afternoon so it looks promising. It's close to 80 miles for me which isn't a problem, it's getting through Orlando and Clermont that's a PITA. Total travel time to Brooksville is something like 90+ minutes, the majority of it just getting through that mess.  Angry  I don't have a problem getting up in time to make the ride, I just can't leave Rita without making certain she's up, comfortable, and able to be alone for a few hours. Some mornings that's an undertaking on its own. I'd like to take a different route home, maybe the long way around...so to speak. What are the rest planning to do after b'fast? Also, I want to take some pics of the bike in a picturesque spot. Cuz....I'd like to have it included in the VRCC 2014 calendar. Can anyone think of a neat place....beachside, forest, anything?? I'm open to suggestions and will travel to do it.  cooldude

 Cool
I'll be at Mac's(41 & 54) at 7:00am then take Ehren Cutoff to 52 into San Antonio if anyone wants to meet up that's heading up. About a 35- 45 minute ride. Then follow on to Brooksville. Looking forward to seeing the group.

Enjoy the breeze, boys!
Will be heading up to Alabama Thursday morning for the annual plow and plant drudgery at our hunting lease.
We also had the news that our trailer at our camp has been broken into.....again.
So........sounds like there is plenty of work up there to do in addition to the normal stuff it takes to clean the camp and land and get things ready to hunt.
Y'all be safe now, Ya' hear??

Larue we r planning on breakfast in the morning and we can stop somewhere for lunch so any of the ones that may have missed b-fast can fill up their food tanks.  Country Kitchen 20133 Cortez Blvd Brooksville for breakfast 9:15 - 9:30 ish   Later we can do the Cony Island drive in for those that missed and that would be a good place to gather and gab. 1112 E Jefferson St Brooksville.  941-685-4094 Jerry and 95 is Sherry.

Larue, I'm going to try and make the 9:30'ish b'fast stop. Let me know if you want to join me. I take the 408 to the t'pike, north to the SR50 exit, then west all the way to Brooksville. Once past the mess in Clermont it's mostly country riding and kinda nice.

Wish I could join you guys on Saturday but as usual, I'll be at work. Looks like the weather will be pretty nice too. Looking forward to doing some riding over that way, kind of new territory for me. Have fun and be safe!
