its that time again ...          Smiley
3rd 4th and 5th ...
October has the  b I g g e s t  crowds I have ever seen in canton texas        Shocked
the weather is fair and there will be lots and lots of vendors     Roll Eyes
you like to people watch or shop or even look just look at texas junk
now is the time ...  
and dog town , pets and livestock     ???
is south east corner of tx 19 and tx hwy 64      coolsmiley
the new part ... north east of the cross roads I have never seen to this day
I can never get past the orginal trades day location ..
 lots to take in  ... walk for miles    Cool

If you don't find interest in Canton, try Marburger Antique Show in Round Top,, same weekend. A twice a year stop for us.

loaded the trunk and the back seat with  good  s t u f f           Undecided
looked , walked and talked for five and a half hours       Roll Eyes
oh yeah ... we shared during our walk , fried green tomatoes ... chili cheese dog ... sausage on a stick
roasted sweet corn ... with butter and a sprinkle of  " slap  yo  mama "  seasoning salt   Shocked
  a funnel cake w\powdered sugar and cinnamon       ..........          buurrrp           Embarrassed
     we will sleep good tonight ....        Wink

My late mother-in-law used to sell antiques there every month.  That was back when it was all dirt, no buildings for the vendors and you camped out at your site. It was more fun then, IMHO.
