Ok I'm Bummed now

went to Dag's site and although he claims no real science to it. (not blaming him)

it scares me to think there was only like 48,420 USA Valks Built.

What if I need parts  Cry

Parts are readily available through various sources.

You'll find many great resources right here and E-Bay is always a good source for used parts.


And even though you may pay a premium, Honda is very good about replacement parts.


I have several old Hondas (82, 83 & 84) and can still get most any part on them if I'm willing to pay the price.

There is also some commonality with the "other" GL's as well and just general line parts that offer interchangability - i.e. engine/transmission electrical etc.

don't worry, 46,419 are still out there running just fine.

You might need an alternator in 100,000 miles but other then that they just keep on ticking.
