Putin’s Speech August 04, 2013
This is one time our elected leaders should pay attention to the advice of Vladimir Putin.... How scary is that?
On August 04, 2013, Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, addressed the Duma, (Russian Parliament), and gave a speech about the tensions with minorities in Russia :
"In Russia live like Russians. Any minority, from anywhere, if it wants to live in Russia, to work and eat in Russia, should speak Russian, and should respect the Russian laws. If they prefer Sharia Law, and live the life of Muslim's then we advise them to go to those places where that's the state law. Russia does not need Muslim minorities. Minorities need Russia , and we will not grant them special privileges, or try to change our laws to fit their desires, no matter how loud they yell 'discrimination'. We will not tolerate disrespect of our Russian culture . We better learn from the suicides of America, England, Holland and France, if we are to survive as a nation. The muslims are taking over those countries and they will not take over Russia. The Russian customs and traditions are not compatible with the lack of culture or the primitive ways Sharia Law and Muslims. When this honorable legislative body thinks of creating new laws, it should have in mind the Russian national interest first, observing that the Muslims Minorities Are Not Russians". The politicians in the Duma gave Putin a five minute standing ovation.
If you keep this to yourself, you are part of the problem!

Makes it easy to see why it was so easy for him to dominate The Obamanator, when they met. IMHO he is spot on with everything he says, and completely correct in his assumptions.

Tolerance and aquiescence are not the same thing. And believing in and supporting your way of life is not fascism.

Well maybe you guys should move to f**king Russia if if being the respective local chapter presidents of the Putin fan-club isn't enough for you guys. Snowden is loving the place last I heard.
Here's a thought; maybe it turns out that your alignment with Putin doesn't mean that Obama is so wrong, but that your ideology (and that of your party) is more in line with that of a hard-line ultra-nationalist communist dictator than of anything on this side of a democracy.
P.S. The transcript left out the part where they told them to give him a standing ovation or face a firing squad.

We already as a nation have OUR laws on the books. Those wanting to come here and ram ANOTHER set of laws-yes you can read sharia law-down our collective throats need to go some where else where folks MIGHT be more responsive to their idea of a change. Everything I've read about sharia law just WILL NOT wurk for me. In this instance I agree with Mr. Putin. If you see me as racist that's your problem-I prefer to know i'm a Patriot. RIDE SAFE.

yep, let's give lots of praise to this former KGB officer who champions individual rights (and that is with sarcasm if you are not smart enough to get it). a huckster that tramples rights but can ride a horse with his shirt off.
what a BS post.

Just for shitz and giggles I googled "Putin Fan Club". Pretty spot-on. http://www.nationaljournal.com/magazine/the-secret-american-subculture-of-putin-worshippers-20130919I know nothing of the National Journal BTW. Don't know if it's a lefty rag or a righty rag.
