A couple of suggestions... Go to the home page here and click on shop talk there's a lot of info there you'll need, like removing the gas tank and air box etc.
You'll also find the tech forum where you can search for particular projects.
I'd give you some links too but I lost a lot of stuff sending data to a new computer.

Most of the lines MOST NOT all are vacuum lines. A lot of folks here have gone the de-smog route. There is a LOT of information on de-smog and fuel line replacement. Good luck with your quest. RIDE SAFE.

Or you could get the tubing and a set of long needlenose and change them yourself. You can change most of them without tearing anything down if you take your time. The dealer just didn't want to do it, hence the outrageous price cooldude

listen to these guys, they know what they are talking about.$1,000.00 ?????????????? damn, were you getting new tires and a mustang seat out of the deal ?

its pretty easy to do yourself, a few feet of bulk vaccum hose and an afternoon. I have done the long needle nose method, works fine with the intakes off, I found a straight pair of forcepts work a bit better.

For $1000 they better have the common courtesy to give you a reach around.

I notice you're in Tulsa.  If you're opposed to doing it yourself check out the Attic Rat.  He knows Valkyries and he also is in Tulsa.

And the fuel lone new from Honda is under $15.  Gotta pull the tank to get to it.
Attic Rat knows his way around a Valkyrie for sure.

Thanks guys for the referral quirkeyguy001 came by today and we put together a plan to get him fixed up. What he was referring to was the o rings on the fuel rail. Looks like we will do the performance work on his bike too.

As Atticrat said I will be leaving bike off for his performance deal.  Looking forward to the changed bike and I am totally happy with it now.  After seeing what he does with  bikes I will have a permanent smile on my face. Just think he is only 7 minutes from my house. Yahoo
