I am sure this topic has already been talked about, but I cannot seem to find a thread. The Rattlebars people seem to have retired, and I am looking for a Valk driver peg relocation kit. Does anyone have any info as to where I can now possibly find one. Any help would be very much appreciated. JOHN

  Yes Rattlebars has retired .
Your best bet is classified or e-bay.

There was another company that made them, I think Big Bike Things. They are from New Zeeland or Australia. Many have bought stuff from them, and have never heard a bad report cooldude

You can make your own. I lowered my left side a bit using 1/4 X 3 inch wide piece of steel. I actually made up a sample extension piece first with numerous holes to try different positions before settling on one that I liked. You have to watch doing this as the kickstand and gear shift lever will also be a consideration. Not too mention they will scrape sooner. I started the right side plate but had trouble with the exhaust  heat shield on the switch hitting the exhaust pipe. I have yet to finish tweaking that bracket. I can probably share pictures tomorrow as I still have the test extension if you want to see the hole pattern I used and the finished product on the bike.

Somewhere....I have a tracing of the pattern for those kits. I've often considered making a few just to test the demand. Guess I need to start straightening up my shop a little, probably find a few other things that have disappeared.  Embarrassed  Cheesy

That looks good Brian thank for the pic. Pretty straight forward design.  I think I might even be able to do that. crazy2

Nice job Brian! What gauge metal did you use? Do you have a pic of the right side?

1/4 inch thick by 3 inches wide. Here are the two adapters I started with. I had more holes on the left side to play with different angles. The right side needs a few more holes to final tweak it.

I used a front panel off a cereal box to figure out the patterns and to trace the shape on the metal.

I have peg relocating plates, I took them off as I have short legs, and the previous owner was 6' 7" tall.
I live in the North West, where are you located at? Maybe we can work something out. If many riders want these plates these can be used as a template the make more from. These plates were installed on the the bike by the dealer when it was new. Smiley
