I rode the Magna down to a restaurant last evening. Had on a tee shirt and my mesh jacket and a pair of jeans. (always wear my helmet) and have to admit.....my hands were darned cold in my Summer gloves and my body was as well in the mesh jacket. When I got home I put the rain liner in the jacket to cut the cold breeze. Other than that it was a nice ride!

It was 48 here in the morning. The Valkyrie wouldn’t start; I had to take the GW into work.   I was wondering if a fresh set of plugs would help her start in cold mornings.

Try full choke and then try to start. Mine is that way when it is cold outside. I mean full choke.

Billyboy is right.  I forgot about that little detail.  The choke lever on the Valkyrie moves about 1/3 travel before it even picks up the slack in the cables.  Keep pushing until you run out of movement.  You are pulling open 6 enrichener valves.

Looks like we have a 13 degree temperature range between us Shocked  Nice to see mild seasons in Northern Florida. Good riding weather and the Valkyrie breathes better.

That worked well, not as cold this morning but I pushed that choke all the way down and it started easier.

Thanks for the help  cooldude

I was just up in the mountains, and brother, it was cold!! My bike wouldn't even think about starting without that enrichment pushed all the way down. No throttle, just the choke and push the button . It fired up every time.
