It appears to be antifreeze dripping on the kickstand side near the cylinder toward the front. Kind of looks like maybe it starts from under the timing belt cover in the same side. It has done this for several years but only when the temperature gets close to freezing. No issues in the summer or when it is below freezing. It will take days for a quarter size spot to form. Any thoughts?

Fairly common occurrence. Believe that is a radiator hose. It's always at seasonal cold temp changes.
Live with it, or get in there and tighten the clamp.... squeeze the hose and see if it is mushy somewhere, if so replace it.

Maybe it's our location. I'm in S. Michigan my 98 Tourer did the same for 2 years. Tightened up what hose clamps I could see and the drip hasn't returned. Jess has the answer.

First time it gets into the 20s here it are time to tighten the hose clamps-again. RIDE SAFE.

I kind of figured it was something like that and wasn't too worried. I'll see if I can tighten it.

What you describe is exactly like what mine did when it was the upper hose that goes to the thermostat housing. Heres what you do. First, verify the thermostat housing is wet (indicating the leak) by shining a flashlight at it from the left side of the bike just forward of the carburetors. if the thermo housing is dry well, this may not be your problem....if its shiny, its wet and heres what you do next. Remove the one bolt securing the radiator (its at the top in the center) tip the radiator forward just enough to gain access with a flex drive extension and (i believe) 8mm socket.....tighten her up and it should be good to go

Mine has also done this. Both times i noticed it was at smokin joes fall color ride the last 2 years. I'll add this fix to the list of things to do this winter. Mine actually drips off the timing belt cover on kickstand side.

Of course, the bike sits on the sidestand and the liquid follows gravity.

My Interstate does it much worse than my Tourer. Sometimes I tighten the clamp, other times i just live with it as it happens only at startup in cold weather.
If you decide to ignore it, just make sure you check the level of the coolant overflow tank more often than you would otherwise.
