How much seafoam or mmo do you add to a tank for storage?  I'm not having a problem but may not be able to ride as much this winter.   Thanks,  JD

Fort Walton Beach, Florida I'm a simple man, I like pretty, dark haired woman and breakfast food.

Good question....I'd like to know the answer too as I don't know.

I've never heard of a Valkyrie being put to bed for the winter in Florida before.   Wink

Whole can to a full tank. Thats what I do anyway. Poor the seafoam in ride 10 miles to gas station, fill up and ride 10 miles home. That way the seafoam gets down to the carbs.

That's a good way to go....Some people only use half a can per full tank because of the strength of the product .

1/2 oz for storage or 1 oz for cleaning per gallon. But, A full can per tank won't hurt anything. And as Gavin says, it needs to be completely mixed and it needs to get through the carburetors.

I've been doing one ounce per gallon for years.  It usually sits 4 to 5 months.

Thanks guys.  I've never had to use it before.  BF, not going into storage, just not riding as much anymore and don't want to have any problems.

I have used a full can for several years.    I'm too damn lazy to measure it, so I open it, pour in the can, put its cap back on and into the trash barrel it goes.
