I found a picture of a '97 Valkyrie Standard trike on eBay:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/181259843436?forcerRptr=true&item=181259843436&viewitem=

Please notice in the photo that the rotor covers appear the same as my '97 Gold Wing.  Shocked

Has anybody seen or done this. Does it require any mods?  ???

Thanks

Same covers that I have on my '98 Gold Wing. I'm pretty sure the brackets that they mount to won't fit the Valkyrie without modification. Forks on the 'Wing and Valkyrie are very different. The 'Wing has two pinch bolts that hold the lower portion of the bracket. This bracket mounts against the 'Wing fork, which is flat where the pinch bolts are.

On the Valkyrie, the fork is round where the pinch bolts are located. In addition, there is a third mounting point for the covers at the top of the cover where it attaches to the fork. I'm sure someone could make some custom brackets to accommodate both the lower and upper mounting locations. Might be work contacting the seller to find out how those covers are mounted. I'm sure a few Valkyrie owners would be interested. Never much cared for the covers that were available for the Valkyrie. Not sure that I'd want to cover the wheel on the Valkyrie. Looks good on the 'Wing but, at least for me, looks out of place on the Valkyrie.

1500Rider;
Thank you for your comments. I am not sure that I'd like them either but if the 'Hassle factor" is low I might try them.  Undecided

I did ask the seller about them covers. He replied that they came from a 93 GL1500. He said he will send me some pics(?)
showing the mods he did to fit them to his Valk trike. Shocked

I'm sure that the ones in my 97 wing would be similar enough to visualize them on the Valk along with the info that I hope he sends
regarding mods and installation. Roll Eyes

If and when he sends more information (Hoping for Pics) I'll update the thread. Wink
