Maia got some good news yesterday, the pathology report came back and the tumor is NOT cancer.  However, she got really bad news today as well.  She has suffered some brain insult.  It is diffuse (scattered) and they don't know how severe.  It's something that she MIGHT be able to recover from... or it may be permanent.  NO ONE knows.

For now, heart surgery is postponed indefinitely.  They say it could be days, or months before they determine if, and or when they can operate to remove the tumor in her heart.  They want to let her brain rest and heal as much as possible before attempting heart reconstruction surgery.

Overall, a very bad couple days... but it's still better than it having been cancer.  If it was cancer... it's essentially be over for her.  As it is... there is still a glimmer of hope... even though it's pretty far away and dim.

Definately a tough road to travel.

We'll continue to keep her and your family in our prayers.

Remember, Trust is believing that God can...... Faith is believing that God WILL.

Have Faith.

It's been a tough couple days.  They are in a indefinite "wait and see" pattern now, which is the hardest thing.  When they had a plan... everyone was doing better.  Now that there is no real PLAN, it's really hard on Mom and Dad.

Thanks all.
