Bike update.

Well I fired her up today and she's running on all 6 cylinders. Now just waiting for a few parts before I can button up the carbs. I might have to pull the carbs one more time to replace the Orings on the fuel T between carbs 4 and 6. I have gas in the fuel line now to see if the seals come back after being so dry for so long. And I flushed the clutch fluid and cleaned the lever so it works smoothly. Also went to AAA and got all the paperwork in order and insurance taken care of.

All is going well. I had to pull the carbs again to replace the orings on the right side fuel rail. Got the air box on today and fired her up again. She runs great and I'm very happy with my progress.
While I'm waiting for some parts I'm going to pull the rear wheel and check the final drive and make sure the splines are ok and lube. I have to replace the fuel sender in the tank and the petcock screen before I can put the tank back on. I'm also going to rebuild the petcock. The Dan-Marc valve in on and working properly with an in line filter.
And the fun continues,
Dave

Well today I worked on the back end of the bike. I put on a new Bridgestone tire and rear brakes. Cleaned the caliper and flushed the fluid. Pulled the final drive and it's in great shape. All lubed and ready to go. Still have to change the oil in it which I will do tomorrow. Also got the tank back on and started her up and sync the carbs. I ordered a new fuel sender for the tank so it will have to come off one more time. Next it's on to the coolant and front brakes before I road test her.
Someone is going to get a nice bike.
