I disconnected the hose that runs from the bottom of the crankcase breather to the T that goes to the Carb banks.

Thanks to Attic Rat for sending a pic of the proper routing of the carb vent hoses for non-CA emission bikes.  The two hoses (1 from each bank) simply route to the rear "plate stay" that connects the two carb banks.  In the plate stay are two cutouts, in which the hoses from the carb banks route through (no T required).

Hmmmm, interesting. Thats a first, never ran into that before. I'll have to keep this in the memory bank, which is increasingly difficult to do.
