I also have an 02 LT (light truck), with 105000 miles on it. I honestly think it will outrun the Valk and there is no way I can beat that 55-56 mpg I get riding between 60-65 or the 40's in the 70's. I think your's is "prettier" than mine, though.
My LT has 49K on it now and is starting to cost money here and there. Nothing is cheap to repair on an LT, as I'm sure you are aware! Must be an Air Force habit to like the LT's. I'm also retired AF '68 to '92. My neighbor, a '94 Harley Low Rider owner, is really pushing me hard with money offers to sell my LT to him. I really don't have the room for two bikes and may sell it to him.

BMW = BRING MORE WAMPUM
I got mine cheap cheap cheap, needing a clutch. Dealers want $2500 to replace one. Did it myself and saved 1900 bucks. But you are right as rain about being spendy. Not to mention a pain in the tush to work on. As long as I'm able to enjoy them both I'll keep em, but since mine have to sit out side I've got more room. However, I can't find a thing wrong with cash in hand.
