Riders backrest

My 98 Tourer came with Mustang Rider and passenger seats. Unfortunately the riders seat was not fitted with a backrest, and Mustang can not retro fit one. I really like the seats but for long rides there is nothing like a backrest. does anyone know of an aftermarket riders backrest that I can use in conjunction with my Mustang seats?

I'm not 100% on a Mustang fitment, but these guys can probably hook you up.

Also, you should peruse our classified. Some are for sale from time to time.... alone, and already attached to a seat.

I have a Mustang setup and I have a backrest for the rider. Did Mustang say they say they could not help you with this or did you go by someone else's opinion? Just asking.

New Mustang drivers solo seats come with a backrest (or the reinforced slot for one), or not. If it was not made for a Mustang backrest, one cannot be retrofited.

Hey jumper..., I've got a Custom World International driver's backrest for the Valk that I'm no longer using and it is in very good condition. I bought an Ultimate seat system. If your interested PM me.
