noticed my clutch slave is starting to leak a tiny bit ,would you guys recomend replacement or rebuilding the cylinder.does the rear ti
re have to be removed to do the replacement?local stealer mechanic   said 3-4 hr job  .but  then he said we dont usually work on  anything but hondas but we are slow now so can work you in....scared me so decided to tackle myself.doesnt look to be a very involved job.thanks guys for input

What brand do they work on?   I assume you have a Valkyrie, and he said the above statement.

I'd find me a dealer that know how to work on Honda's.  If he doesn't know the Valkyrie is a Honda, he would lay a finger on mine.

You do not have to remove the back tire, but you do have to remove the side stand to remove the slave cylinder assembly. I got myself one of the Harbor Freight wheel chock - http://www.harborfreight.com/motorcycle-stand-wheel-chock-97841.html. Got a rebuild kit of eBay and it took me a little less than 2 hours to rebuild the slave cylinder, including bleeding the clutch.

I did forget to say it was a honda dealer a well respected shop here.I drive a 97 standard valkyrie,fast bumblee bee.The mechanic didnt know it was  a honda,he looked about 16 years old,real nice kid but like I said if he didnt  know a valkyrie is Honda he isnt touching mine.
