I just noticed that I am getting oil leaks from around the base flanges of the chrome tubes that come off the manifold and attach to the bottom of each carburator. The worst leaks are from the front tubes on each side. Due I have a serious engine problem or just bad gaskets or O rings. I am not sure how this tube is sealed to the manifold. Thanks

The chromed tubes between the head and the carb? There are o-rings  as sealant between the tubes and the head. You can loosen the tubes at both ends, remove them, and insert new o-rings.

I'm guessing it is fuel gunk not oil. Put new orings in #123

Yep. Get a set from redeye-tech on E-Bay. I think they're 13 bucks.

ACCO Hardware had the #123 rings. I always look for things in national chain stores I might need on the road.

I got a pack of 25 for around $10 at Granger. Get the Vitron rubber orings. They are gas and heat resistant.
