My experience is that after you've ridden a few weeks with the fairing on, you'll not likely go back. And, unless you take it off for paint [and since you have a black bike, that ain't gonna happen]. The windshield will be another relic in a box somewhere. Looks good with the running lights. Sorta like Billyboys......and mine.

Now that looks very good Larue. You just keep making a very good looking ride better al the time!  cooldude I predict you end up leaving this there permanently, with an inner liner, radio and speakers.

Looking good Larue cooldude Those faring's look great with the solo seat set up. I started really liking them when I first saw Sherry's White & Pink Valk. Then when she got her Bumblebee wow...that's a real head turner. Then I saw Woodman's painted to match his green & cream Tourer. They look sharp and from what I hear offer much better wind protection while reducing high speed buffeting. Looks great and functional cooldude

Larue. The Valk looks great and like everyone else, I think you will end up leaving it on.

I did the same thing with my previous ride, a VTX, I never went back to the windshield.

Be safe brother, hope we can catch up soon  cooldude

Mine has a 12" windshield on it and it works well for me. I can see over it and it Cuts the wind wonderfully. I believe that the Memphis Shades windshield is the same or can be used on the H-D Batwing. I saw them on E-Bay for $75.00

Memphis Shades shields have different spacing.  You can use them on a Harley or Woody's fairing, but you have to take a Drimmel tool to them first.  They're not a direct fit.

I use the re-curve shields from FastAire on my Woodys fairing.  I have several of them in different sizes.  They fit all standard three hole Harley fairings.

But for a much more economical route, fastaire has standard shields that are very reasonablly priced.

I don't have any of these guys shields, but they look like a pretty good alternative to the fastaire shields.
