hi guys!  Haven't rode my Valk in while.  I put fresh gas in it with Sta-Bil  and it started right up.  A new problem has appeared.  With the engine warmed I shift it into first and that kills the engine.  Is this a common problem?  Any ideas would be appreciated.  Thank you !   Linedog

Or....are you putting it into gear with the kickstand still down? Supposed to work that way.

Gary, it's been quite awhile since I've seen you post on here. I hope all is well with you and yours.
I agree with the others, kickstand related...either down or a bad switch.

First time I tryed to start my bike with the kickstand down, I screwed around for a week before I got smart enough to read the owners manual.  It happens, don't be emberassed.  Hoser  Grin

try pushing the kick stand switch over and over again. should work if not bypass the switch until you get another. but don't forget about it and let your bike get away from you. pouch
