Rear turn signal assembly install question

I have an '02 turn signal with a Kuryakyn lens and bezel kit I want to install. I've been putting it off because my frame rail bolts are real difficult to align.
 Question, when I remove the rear fender section is this plug and play wiring or will I need to cut and solder the new signal when swapped?

Are They Front Turn Signal Lights with Running Lights? If so you will have to tag into your Tail Light For Power.

Nope, just replacing my double screw stock '98 signal with a single screw stock '02 signal.
with the Kury kit added.

Doug, I'm not sure what you're asking. The rear half of the fender wiring unplugs at the top sheltered by a small bracket it fits in. As for the wiring associated with the lights themselves, you'll have to remove the entire turn signal/license plate holder. There's large chrome phillips that holds the lamp in place on the rubber mount, but to remove the light you have to separate the wires(bullet connectors) and pull them back through. Fishing the new wires back through can test your patience, may want to use some thin picture hanging wire for that. Plug the wires back in the same place the old ones came from and you should be good to go.

It can be done without removing the rear section of the fender....if your name is Job.

  I discovered that whole assembly will break down into 6 separate parts when dismantled. My original exterior chrome is in perfect condition. The '02 assembly had better internal parts with no corrosion, so I did some parts switching. I did manage to strip out one of the tiny brass nut cage inserts which go into the plastic housing (real easy to do) Fixed it with JB Weld. Took the license plate bracket and cut off the ugly reflectors, grinded and repainted. Took the '02 license plate light fixture lens and bulb. I didn't realize how brown and faded my old license plate lens had become over the years. Added the Kuryakyn signal lens, bulb and bezel kit. Went with smoked lens and red bulbs.
  I was planning on pulling the rear fender, without even trying to reach up under. There's actually more than enough room to do this on the bike. I tied the assembly to the rear rack, suspending it to connect the wiring.  Thanks for your advise John, I'm happy.
