A few days ago I backed my 2000 IS out to go for a local ride. While prepping for the ride I noticed what I thought was a small maybe half teaspoon of oil on the ground on the left side under the front of the exhaust header. Shocked! have never had any leaks. Looked under the bike and saw a drop on the front left header bolt. Could not see where it came from. Rode about eighty miles and kept stopping to check, looking for a gusher, never found any more oil. Could see the shift seal is dirty and needs to be replaced. Back home slightly bummed out, I parked the bike on top of white paper. Two days and nothing, today I see a couple of drops of green (antifreeze). There is some on the left front header bolt again and a little on the interconnecting hose that wraps around the left side. Took off the left IS pod to see better. Only thing I thought I might be seeing was possible wetness at thermostat hose connection. Can't get my fingers within two inches of that. Used a little swivel socket (wrong size) and after a bit, tightened the clamp about a turn tighter (seemed a little loose). Checked all but one of the other clamps I could reach and they seemed OK. Wish the clamps were wider as that one appears to have sunk into the hose some. Guess I will ride some more and see, will have to move the radiator to change that clamp. You guys had this before, should I look somewhere else? If it was a car I would pressurize the system, don't know about the Valk. Thanks for any input  Firefighter.

The clamp on the thermostat housing is usually the culprit. I have heard of the O-rings in the cooling tubes on the top of the motor leaking as well, but, not often. I would wait and see if tightening the top clamp fixed the problem before I dug into anything else cooldude
