Planning to head down from New Joisey
670 Miles, but hoping to ride the Blue Ridge there or back
Been to Asheville before ...love the place. Tried to move my wife out of NJ to Asheville/ Henderson a few years ago but I think she was going to miss the crooked politicians, high taxes, pollution and oh yeah the family here in NJ

I spoke with Connie today regarding this.  It is taking a bit longer to get the registration up as it normally does due to some things that came up (one being Michael's transplant, doctor visits, etc.)  In between her work schedule and taking care of Michael, she hasn't been able to work on the registration much.  She hopes to get it done real soon!

What?  She's gonna let a little thing like a kidney transplant hold up Inzane registration??

(I'm kidding of course)

Some people just can't their priorities straight!!   Wink

Michael's post transplant appointments were daily at first, then every other day, next week only twice.  The appointments are an all day affair, with blood work, follow-ups, and various tests.  They originally said he couldn't drive himself for six weeks (but he's been cheating a little). Today is four weeks exactly.  Sitting at Mayo now, waiting to see the nephrologist. Hopefully he will clear him to drive, so I don't have to go every time.

Come on guys name the HOTEL.,

I see you is  newbie to posting.
If, you have registered for the event, you would know the Hotel/Motel.

Ya have to have a VRCC event registration before ya can get a room anyway.

Sorry for the confusion.

I see you have two posts!  So, maybe you missed it when posted quite a while ago.  Here you go.

Register for Inzane.  You will get a confirmation number that you will then use to reserve a room at the hotel.

I hate to seem impatient but, does anyone have any idea as to when the schedule of events is going to be posted?

There will no doubt be some events I will want to participate in and other's I will not be as interested in.    I would like to be able to plan on doing other things while the lessor events are taking place.    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I just go and hang out and ride and if I'm there when something is going on,
I participate. And make the ride to get there and the ride home fun too...

At many locations, I'd wing it but, in this particular location, I have other interests/friends that I'd like to visit and don't want to just show up.     They have lives running at full speed also.    Giving them an idea on when I'm going to show up would be much more appreciated versus showing up as they are about to depart for some other adventure.    It's just common courtesy.

I'll admit that "winging it" isn't my style.   There will be down days when I don't really want to go do this or that.    The only ride I have my heart set on is the Waterfall Ride but, it's my understanding that a limit has been put on how many are allowed to sign up and go along.     I understand that to a certain extent, too many bikes can be a real hassle to keep organized so I'm hoping there will be several groups set up.   If not, I'll get the route and do it on my own.   I like small group riding better anyway.   One while riding solo is the smallest group I can come up with.   Wink

You are quite right I have not registered yet and although my postings are limited I have been a member for over ten years and attended other Inzanes.
The Host Hotel name was always listed. Paducah was great, Johnson City, the hotel was the pits, fortunately we alternate with RVing Camping and Hoteling, not everyone that registers will be staying at the hotel.
Not everyone can afford the Host Hotel's rates and seek accommodation as near as possible to the Venue, when you are on a fixed income, as most retirees are, you try and get the best value for money.

I'd get lost half way through. And on the valk, there'd probably need to be a fuel/pee stop in the middle somewhere Smiley

No offense intended, limeybiker.  It was (often the case for me) my smartass showing through, this time in an unclear hint that the hotel information you are seeking is revealed by registering.

There is nominal cost associated with registration, but you don't have to book a room to register.
