Since I've sold my Valk (first mistake) I'm planning on having either an F6B or the 'new' Valk by then. Hope to finally meet, ride, and chow down with the crew--

It's 634 miles for me using the route through Georgia and SW N. Carolina that would allow me to visit some old friends. That would probably turn a long one day ride into 3-4 days, making it much easier on these old bones & joints. I've already told my honey about when and where so now it's up to her to figure out how to have someone stay with her. I haven't been to InZane since the first one in Michigan and she really wants me to attend if at all possible. All I can say is....He knows the desires of my heart, so I'm sure it all will work out.  cooldude

650 miles ...  One day ride down and likely a two day ride home.
Looking forward to making my first Inzane.  Haven't been in the TN/NC area on my bike since the days of the Honda Hoot.   So looking forward to being out on those roads again... Beautiful country.

641 miles from my house, it'll be 800 the way I'll be taking.  Too many scenic, curvy roads between here and yonder to pass up riding the slab.

Skinhead - I'll get there eventually, keep me a cold one.

Yeah, we need to create Inzane West or something.  Some of the best weather and best riding out here, but the powers that be don't see the value in having an event out here.  We should start our own!

Please add the Cherohala Skyway to that.

Don't get distracted by the views.  Evil

Sadly, I couldn't do the Cherohala Skyway, as I had issues with my bike and spent a day getting it fixed at Wheeler's shop. So that ride is already on my list!
FYI, if anyone needs any repairs done, Wheeler is the man! He re-jetted my carbs, dyno tuned the bike, didn't like what he saw, RE-re-jetted them, dyno'd it again, and with all that work, two t-shirts and a clutch lever (for the one my wife broke on her bike), he charged me less than $200.  cooldude cooldude cooldude

They had two Inzanes in CO. Frisco to exact a few years ago. If memory serves me right the attendance was down. It has been said before that most of the Valkyrie owners are in the Midwest so this is why they leave it in the area. If you and some of the other CA folks want to joins us. Get a big trailer and split the cost of fuel and come on out. I know trailering sucks but sometimes you have to get where you are going in a hurry. California is a beautiful state but for most of us it is too far to ride in a week. Both of the original Presidents of the club lived in CA. The VRCC puts the rallies where the most Valk riders can attend.  But if you come out you will not be disappointed. The roads in the NC TN area are some of the best I have ridden.

It's 1044 miles for me, avoiding Chicago (2 days). I rode in the area to the west, around Robbinsville, in 2012 the week after Inzane XII.  Will have to think about this years Inzane. Already committed to a week long MMCI rally in Wisconsin Dells this year, which is a short day away.  Also thinking about Sturgis Bike Week and doing a Saddle Sore 1000. Being retired provides a lot of time but a fixed income.

Denver is about 1200 miles away from Sacramento.  Not exactly West coast.

Really should think about creating an Inzane West.

Denver is about 1200 miles away from Sacramento.  Not exactly West coast.

Really should think about creating an Inzane West.

No matter where you go, it will be a long distance for a lot of folks.  FreePass rode from Redding to Houston for the Gathering of the Fools and also was at the 2nd Bellaire, Michigan InZane.

I've only been to the Michigan Inzane (1332 miles) but that was due to work interference every other year.  I plan to go every year but get trumped by either work or wife and go somewhere else for a week when I can.  This year's Inzane location is a rider's paradise - great roads within minutes of Asheville.  Been riding here twice in the last 4 years and am spoiled now - nothing within 250 miles of here even sniffs at the roads in Tennessee and North Carolina.  Hoping for no trumping this time!

I'd be happy for us to have an Inzane in California and would plan the ride accordingly. It's only 1700 miles to Sacramento.  2 days.  The trick would be the number of people who would attend from the east coast.

As our staff is a volunteer group, doing a second Inzane is probably not in the works.  It's hard enough to plan one.

Hope to see you at a future ride.
