InZane 14 will be the awesome motorcycle playground surrounding Asheville, NC.  The Ground Zero hotel is in Asheville; we are not releasing the name of the ground zero hotel just yet, because they are not ramped up to start taking reservations; also, we still have some final details to nail down.

Of course, y'all already know the dates... June 9-13; early bird night on the 8th.  See everyone in June... WooooooHooooo!!!

I'm really going to try to make this one. The area is fantastic for anything on two wheels.

Okay someone has to ask it.
Who will be cancelling the Maggie Valley run and going to Inzane instead?

Pappy, I'll be going to Inzane and skip the Maggie Valley ride. Just not enough time to do all the rides I'd like to do.

I guess the timing for the MV trip isn't going to work out too well. Oh well, we can always do it at another time. Should make the Admin real happy if we did just call it off anyway. I do need to call and cancel the rooms blocked out for us though at the two Motels if there is no need for them. Y'all just need to speak up and let me know. I'm still going in May as it is one of our annual runs we do every year. Inzane in Asheville should be pretty nice.

Jeff

A lot of people need to know by the first of the year so they can request vacation.
I am the other way around, I do not know until it gets closer to the date because it depends on the amount of work I can or cannot miss.
I do make a run for the mountains once a year, just don't know this year's exact date as off now.
Talk to you about my dilemma at Bert and Sherrie's, I know that does not help you but I can't commit to either at this time.

Not many riders have answered so I am guessing that either they are thinking about it or they don't want to disappoint you, after all, you did take the time set it up and we all appreciate you taking the initiative.

When do you need to know by so you can call and cancel the rooms if need be?

Maybe knowing the date will get some more answers

I hope it's not about disappointing me. I was just willing to set it up for the group and the pleasure was all mine. There will be no hard feelings on my part at all. I still think it would be a heck of a good time for our group up there. I really enjoy our get-togethers and we all seem to have a very good time when we do. This is a very cohesive group of great people.

They will hold the rooms until March 15th I think she said, I need to go back and read the original post. They were very nice about offering a discount with such a small group that I want to let them know so they can open them back as soon as possible.

I'm not giving up on this event y'all. Having Inzane in Asheville is pretty close to home and I know a lot of people have always wanted to go to one, some just want to go again and see old friends. I really don't. I got burned out on the big ride-in type events when I went to the Goldwing gatherings with the GWRRA in years gone by. We can always do it another time..the mountains will still be there.  cooldude

You are definitely right, I am a newbie on the Valk world and consequently with the Florida Chapter.
Only two Florida gatherings under my belt and a few more meetings with Valk riders and I can definitely say that you hit the nail on the head.

Some of the guys I have spoken with, seem to have been here forever
and I mean that in a positive way  Grin

Looking forward to many more happy miles with this bunch  cooldude

I'm kinda leaning to do both the Florida run in May for the riding and June for the national gathering/social meet. Gonna keep a weather eye out. I would suspect a record turnout for Inzane in it's chosen area, meaning lot's of bikes all over the BRP and surrounding areas, whereas a May trip would offer some nice open relaxed riding without excessive congestion or real schedule to adhere to. At Inzane 13 I met several interesting folks, had some good conversations, and did a lot of riding out solo as well as with Indian Dave, Dave with Cory products who supplied the bike wash products daily, morning coffee with Olddog1946 from Washington state, and others; it was just an enjoyable event even with the excessive heat followed by the second worse rain coming home I have ever ridden in. Makes for great memories!
