Pallet jack as motorcycle lift

Sorry if this is a silly question, I know squat about lifts. There are some manual pallet jacks that lift pretty high like
http://www.ebay.com/itm/High-Lifting-Hydraulic-Pallet-Truck-2000-lb-Cap-95102A-/390692276397?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5af71308ad
Was wondering if anyone had tried adapting one as a MC lift. The linked one has an outside distance between forks of 21 inches.

I worked on Jacks and lifts most of my life, that's a neat ideal and as long as you made the whole set up stable so it would not fall over then it might work. But most of those are not that stable when you raise them up. They tip very easy when you turn, Just be careful if you try to move it once its up.

It seems you could make it work, but at $450.00 bucks , you'd be better with a top line M/C jack.
I think the forks would get it the way when you were working on the bike, stabbing you in the gut all the time.

$449.00 AND $176.12 shipping. I have the H/F yellow lift and I've got less in it than the shipping cost fer da pallet jack. I M H O-the price differences would buy lotsa gas for riding or a moderate amount of safety chrome.
RIDE SAFE.

If you look around a bit you'll be able to find a picture of a Valkyrie on a forklift.
You, I'm sure, still need to use an adapter to avoid the pipes being below the point of contact on the power plant.
