Some beautiful pictures there John.    You got several $$$$ shots.

I really liked the design of the 1st picture of the bank.

This old school building is where I went to grade school in the 50's.  It seems still sound structurally, I think it was built as a WPA project in the thirty's.  Hoser

John I wondered if that wasn't a WPA project building.     There used to be one in Panora very similar in size and stucture wise.

The town decided it wanted a new school, so they built one West of town and tore the old school down and made a meeting room building.

They are everywhere Whistler, just look around, The ones I put up on the board are in just 4 or 5 counties around here.  The Cathedral of the plains is near Fort Hays, went by there a few years back on the way to IZ in Frisco.  Hadn't acquired my new hobby then.  This is the Cathedral of the Flint Hills just north of Paxico off I70 west of Topeka.  I'll bet there are neat buildings in Newton.  Maybe an old railroad depot?  I'm gonna work on them, the one in Marysville is still there, even though the rails have been moved.  Might do it Sunday, sounds like a good day to ride.  Hoser

School in Frankfort?

And I was happy to see the Columbian Theater and Cottonwood Community Club =)

I don't recognize most of them but here are the ones with which I'm familiar:
#1 Marysville, about a block from the Wagon Wheel Cafe (great FFR target if it weren't so far north from most people)
#3 Marysville, brick road as #1 but just north of the high school
#5 looks like a barn on one of the Zeandale Road curves between Hwy 99 & Manhattan
#11 haven't seen it in person but it's got to be catholic since it looks like the same guy must have built this one and "Seven Dolors" in Manhattan
#7 is the scenic overlook on K-77 south of Manhattan
#30 & 31 downtown Eskridge
#32 McDowell Creek Road south of I-70

You really DO like it over here in my neck of the woods, don't ya =)
Well, Marysville is an hour away but I spent a lot of days there for football, basketball, wrestling and baseball, so it's familiar.

You got em Rob, the brick one is the old Marshall County Courthouse on Broadway, now a museum, the bank mentioned earlier is four blocks east of there.  Hoser
Here is another slideshow of my favorite activity every year on Broadway. (very long)
