Coming home from a local bike night, some f'head in a 70's something Buick runs a stop sign off a highway exit looks dead at me, flips a u turn and gets back on the highway entrance all in my lane! Looking at his head lights was scary!
Five years ago at the same place, a lady ran the same stop sign and totaled my wife's Town and Country. Because of this and Patty's fear of this intersection,I was only going about 30 MPH and had two fingers on the front break.

I missed the back of his car by less than five feet. He never even slowed coming off the highway and stopped on the entrance ramp when he flipped back on. I kept going, Patty was upset enough without me attempting a driving intervention on this guy.

It pays to be wary.... I'm glad that didn't turn out worse. It's too bad you couldn't have gotten his tag number and reported him for being asinine on the public roadways. Ride Safely!
