Bert
Few questions about your front DS tire.
Size?
Model?
Do you still like it?
Will you do it again?
Is it lasting?

Hi Gil, My first darkside was o 205/55/16 and when I wore it out I put a M/C Tire back on and was Glad I did not put another 205 on due to the tire being Flat Surfaced and Not Round. I have Put Motorcycle tires back on and Like the Ride but they just don't last long. I have since Installed the Austone 175 R16 Tires on Three of my Valkyries and Love the way they ride with no Flat area to worry about and they handle Great in the Curves and Don't Track in the Lines in the Road Like the Wider Car Tires. They also Drop Your RPM's by 250 Rpm's.I am Very Pleased with the Austone Taxi Tires. I don't know how long they will last but they should last at least three times what a M/C tire will last and are nearly $100.00 less Expensive than an Avon or Dunlop M/C  Rear Tire. I also Ron Dyna Beads For Balancing instead of Weights.

Size  ?- 175 R16
Model ? - Austone Taxi Tire From Universaltire.com
Do I Still Like It ? - I Love It, It Handles and Rides Great
Will I Do It Again ? - Yes
Is It Lasting ?- Yes,Should Last At Least Three Times As Long As A M/C  Tire.

Gil, are you wanting to know about the front or the rear tire? I have the same one Bert does on the front. It is a rear M/C tire mounted backwards and I love it. It is a Dunlop D404 130-90/17. The backwards mounting was something I didn't totally agree with but after speaking with several Valkyrie people a lot smarter then me, I did mount it backwards. Lots of good opinions on here about this set up, but for me, I love it and would do it again.

Yeah, front tire.  Want to do the double DS.  Running the GYTT on the back.  Randy and I are planning a long ride and I wanted the DS front for the extra tread, handling, and coolness factors.

I Have the Dunlop 404 Rear Tire on the Front But I am Running it in its intended direction. It does have 3/16 of an inch more tread than a Front Tire, For Longer Tread Life. I like the fact that It will last longer .
