Guessing you are gonna be at Hwy 46 and 281. I'll be there by 9:00 am. If I would have seen this earlier I would have tried to hook-up with Charlie for the ride down. Looking forward to seeing a few folks. It's been a long time for me. Bike isn't running too good, but she'll get me there and back.

Hey Richard, your message didn't show up before I left this morning otherwise I would have hung around the 46/281 Exxon a little longer. I was looking for a Valero station at Hwy 46 since that was what was mentioned at the start of this thread, but there is no such animal. I did slip into the Exxon right at 9:00 but no Valks to be found. So I slipped across 281 and checked out the Chevron with the same result. I just figured everyone was meeting at a Valero at some other point along Hwy 46, so I meandered up to Starbucks and got a cup of hot coffee, and I needed it dearly since I was about froze-through. Anyway, after a warm up cup, I decided to head back to Blanco and had a bite at the Chess Club. Sorry I missed everyone, it would have been great to see y'all. But, there's always next time!
John

Hey John , from the Exon Gas Station going East on Hwy. 46 towards New Braunfels , about 4 miles there is a Valero Gas Station on the left , and right before the Valero gas station there are 2 restraunts on the left .... You should have stayed at the Exon John , and waited just a bit because we did go by there around 9:15 / 9:20 and I was looking for you ..... Oh well like you said, there's always next time , don't know about the weather tho .... Hey John , do yourself a favor , you see my cell number posted , keep it and when we have another ride CALL ME or I can call you if I had your number so no more mis-understandings , just an idea ..... We had not seen you in a BIG WHILE since the Wrench Party at my house .... We were all looking forward to meeting up with you again ..... Keep in touch , Ride Safe ..... Thanks the Geezer

Great Ride Centex Boys , if the weather was any nicer I don't think I could of sood it , PLUM BEAUTIFUL ..... We all met up at the Valero gas station with Curtis / Judy (Mr. & Mrs. Burn-out) , Tommy ( mofo ) and Richard 7 Lisa ( Mr. & Mrs. Geezer ) ..... Then we all rode up to the Blanco City Square and met up with F-Stop (Charlie) & 2K1 Super Valk (Damien) ..... Under the suggestion from Mrs. Burnout (Judy) we rode up to Stonewall to a Real Neeto - Burrito Restraunt called Lindigs .... The chow was great and the foks there were realy friendly and we had a great time sitting around shooting the bull .... After that great meal we all rode over to Luckenback and visited with Curtis's Daughter & son in law Paul where he showed us his Newly Built B & B right on the Grape Creek right behind the Luckenback grounds , very serene & beautiful hill country scenery .... Then it was time to saddle-up back towards Blanco & that's where we parted ways with Brother Charlie , he went straight and we went south on 281 towards SA .... I'm looking forward to the next ride , Mofo Tommy has a Great Idea for the next ride .... Thanks from the Geezer's

Question: How far out do CenTex rides normally get posted? Thanks to Old Geezer Richard's constant nagging over the last year, I have finally trained myself to check this site about once a week for upcoming rides. Unfortunately, I am usually a day late & a dollar short for the VRCC rides (found out about this one about the same time you guys were leaving Valero Sunday AM). Although I may not be able to make all the rides, I would certainly like to make some (especially when the weather is as nice as it was this past weekend!)
Thx, Fred
