front frame neck is cracked, going to try to buy it back for parts. I don't want to lose all the accessories, chrome wheels , hitch etc. will have a price in a few days. Guess I will be looking for another when i am able to get around. I am still pretty screwed up.

Well that's sad to hear Bill but I'm guessing you expected that. Hopefully they will let you have it for a decent price. Time to explore your options now for a new ride. Hope the recovery is going according to schedule. Hang in there.

Sorry to hear that, hopefully they give you a fair buy back price. At least now you know what you have ahead of you.
Hope you are feeling better.

Wow.  That is as bad as any get off ever needs to be, everything got hit.

Glad you are not hurt worse than you were (bad enough, I know).

If they don't get overly greedy, buyback seems a good idea.

Take care of yourself Bill..... then a bike.

Heal well Bill, everything else will work out.
If you get a fair buyback, great. If not, you'll find the right deal when you are ready. If you need anything pulled off it, shout out. I know it's loaded with goodies, I'm sure you don't want to give them away.
Let me know, we can pull all your extras and store them for your next Valk, or Trike, or sell the good stuff off.

That was a handsome bike, Bill, but it's better for you to be on to the next one. Your next bike will be just so much better and the old phat girls has gone to a better place, perhaps the parts bins in your garage. Take time to heal mind and body. The road is waiting for you.

Hope your able to get a reasonable adjustment and buyback. Without a reasonable buyback there may never be a determined cause for such a catastrophic incident. Continue to heal well, the bike stuff will fall into place.

Sorry to hear she is total loss...that is pretty signigicant damage for what occured.  Considering the damage to the bike it could have been much worse...

Sit back, relax and heal up...

Sorry to hear it.

How are you doing?
Very rough, just spent 5 hrs getting the casts cut off, and over 200 stitches removed. then getting the casts put back on, also getting some of the wounds debrided . To say the least hurt like hell. Also had some infection around some of the pins, had to open that and clean the area around them. I am becoming a druggie trying to kill the pain.

Real sorry Bill, I can't even imagine what your going through.  You are through the worst of it, look forward to the future, your healing and the things you want to do once healed up. Stay positive. Again, anything you and Anna may need, we are a phone call away.
You and yours are in our continued prayers.

Bill, it makes my butt pucker just thinking about what you are going through.  And I thought it was bad when I ripped most of my big toenail off while wearing flip flops back in October.....

Still in our prayers.

Well guess I came out OK with the insurance co. Got a check for $6100 today, and i keep the bike, the title will be changed to a certificate of destruction. That is OK as I am going to part it out. Now if i can get healed enough to do some work.

Bill, I believe the insurance company was fair with you. While the damage looks FUGLY, there are a lot of parts on there that are well worth saving.

After seeing the pics I thank God even more that you were not hurt even more seriously. Take care of yourself, listen to Anna, heal quickly, and when you feel that someone is looking over your shoulder, or you get a nice warm feeling, it's all of us thinking of you, and offering up prayers for your recovery, and praises for you being spared even more injury or worse!

Good to hear they didn't screw you over...healing comes with time.  Sit back, relax, and heal up...not that you'll do that, but there you go.

Now you have the bike in your possession and are not rushed to do anything with it.  And you have enough cash if you wanted to send someone to buy that bike that was posted earlier you could pick it up and start moving parts.  If your son or someone else isn't closer and you want to do something like that just call a garage party and we can be your hands until yours are well and move parts from your old one to the new one.  I know you can still sit in a chair and supervise.  cooldude
