Hey guys,   wondering if anyone knows what kind of lighting source is in the spedo and tach......  LED, bulbs or what...  I want to get more light in there. Anyone brightened them up??

In shoptalk there is a section about this. I don't remember the bulb # but it makes a difference. I put one in the tach when it went out and it is quite a bit brighter than the speedo side.

The original bulbs are about 2.5 watts
replacements;
158  3.3w
161   2.7w
194  3.8w
168   4.9w

I like the #158 or #194

BTW    was that your post about the gear change for lower cruising RPM,s    good work.

Just ordered two of the wled-cw5 in cool white......  never have to think "I just dont like the lighting in those gauges"  again....    You guys have been here every time!!!
