Hello to be clear could someone maybe circle the bolt in red then repost in this thread ?

I think it is the bolt that goes into the aluminum engine hanger behind the Water Pipe or Thermostat Housing.

Thanks

I think  I got the dreaded BUZZ Bolt blues. Rode the Valk tonight I hear the Buzz.

I have other stuff to check as well I have the Tranny Cover and Radiator Chrome to Check as well

I found these items to maybe be the buzz as well through a search on the tech board.

By the way 155 miles and still no reserve ???  I hope it works ( new bike to me, new valk rider, well riden many amny times just not enough to run out of gas lol)  angel

no, it's the long bolt that goes between the frame sides just above and behind where you're pointing, about where your knuckle on the index finger is located

Yep! That's the one.
FYI: I filled up the pipe with silicon sealer before slipping a washer between the pipe and one of the vertical frame tubes. I then tightened the bolt. .... no more buzz.  Smiley

Hi
Good pic of the bolt.  I have a 99 I/S with the pods & fog lites.  The tank is off, the pods are off, but I still can't see the bolt.  How much more do I have to take off to get to it?  I don't like the buzz, but if I have to tear down the whole bike to fix it, I may learn to live with the buzz.  Thanks, Stan
