Not gonna make it! Sad

I'll be at a band competition with my son Aidan in Cedar Park.  He will be representing his school with the Dripping Springs Middle School percussion ensemble.  We got to hear them play last Saturday night and they're good!  Been getting him to rehearsals before school at 7:00 AM.  These kids have worked really hard and it shows!  Wouldn't miss it for the world!

Aidan with his "game face" on…

Y'all have fun and ride safe!

I won't be making this one either.  Looking at the WX forecast it should be a great day for a ride.  Have fun and be safe.

Me and the Mrs need to get involved with your group. Maybe not this weekend, but soon. Hopefully we can stay in touch enough to know when the rides are!

Hey Old Geezer!
So good to chat with you tonight. I'll get with my buddy tmw and ask if he'll be in Luling this weekend. Hope the weather report changes to no rain until Monday!
I'll have to come up with a plan on how early to mount up to meet y'll.
Can't wait to get hooked up with all y'll Valkyrie riders!
Thanks again for writing that Craigslist post and the phone chat!

Richard,
Just wanted you to know I am checking the forum at least one a week as promised.  Unfortuantely, I came down with a nasty case of flu this past weekend and am still recovering so not sure if will be ready to ride by Saturday.  The good news is, thanks to your favorite wrench my Valk has a brand new Avon Venom-R on back along with a new 2014 inspection sticker so my phat gurl is ready roll!
Will give you a call on Friday if I am feeling better.

It was GREAT to get together with the CENTEX folks. Nice day to ride. Greg, were you upset you stood in line with us meat eater's to get your rabbit food? The BBQ was AWSOME. I know the meat eating CENTEX folk's would agree. I have to agree the potato salad and beans were not as good as the brisket, ribs and sausage but they were pretty good. I guess i'm not a connoisseur of rabbit food. Till we ride again,  TAKE CARE ALL. Look forward to the next MEET, GREET, EAT, and most of all RIDE.
