I'm either driving a Valkyrie or an Airbus... it just depends on the day of the week.

I'm tossing around the idea for a weekend. It'll be my 1st one and I been here since 2001.  Undecided

Im planning to ride from New Jersey down Skyline and the Blue Ridge Parkway . I know its a tedious slow ride but its a bucket list item for me. Hoping to get someone from the Northeast that wants to ride down and will share a room

I've made the full drive twice and parts of them many times....."tedious" was never a word that came to mind!!!! cooldude

I ride a motorcycle because nothing transports me as quickly from where I am to who I am.

Maybe the wrong word. Im a flower sniffer myself. I live to go slow and enjoy the scenery etc but apparently lots of folks dont . Lots of guys like to zip down the expressway. To me, riding is life life , its the journey that counts and like life Im not in a hurry to get to the end by racing down the road :-)

There will be several camps as far as riding style ! At least that is what I have found at most motorcycle functions  ! You will have hot riders , slow pokes and intermediates ! And some that just come to BS and not ride at all !

I and hopefully my wife will be there.  Never seem to be able to find someone to house sit for us and take care of our many pets.  Grandchildren are great but worthless when YOU need something.

Registered today but still not sure where we will be staying or what days we will be there.

Can't wait Ken!!!!  I am counting the days now. We are actually going to trailer up.   I am fairly new to riding (8 months) so don't won't to wear out just getting there.  We only get to ride on Sundays now so can't get much time in on the road. Hubby had rode for years.  We are planning to get there Sunday. We are not staying at ground zero however are suppose to be less than 3 miles away.

Stay in touch.  We have 3 coming from Laurel.   Haven't met the guy from Hattiesburg yet and may know the guy from sumrall   lol.
