today was a day for me to remember a brother of mine, so I headed out this morning around 8 and headed east on FM159 to Bellville Tx where i picked up HWY36 and headed to Rosenberg to meet up with a couple of friends. Once i arrived in Rosenberg i picked up my amigos jumped on 59 north and headed for the ZBAR on crab river road where we meet up with about 30 plus bikes for a memorial run down to Blessing Tx. We left there headed south and picked up FM 762 and headed south over to 1462 then over and picked up HWY36  in Damon and headed south to HWY 35. Once on 35 we headed south west to Blessing where we had a libations at the wet spot then had a great meal at the blessing hotel......great food....afterwards we had a couple more cold ones then saddled up and i split off from the main group( which i tend to do) for those that know me, i blasted back up 35 for short distance and turned north on 71 and headed for Elcampo Tx ( the pearl of the praire) or so the sign says! got through Elcampo and headed for Columbus still moving north on 71( still thinking of my gone brother) man i miss that jack ass!! As i moved in to Columbus i picked up FM109 and kept headed north to Fresburg Tx then i took a left on 1291 and headed to lone oak to a local watering hole, there i found a couple of brothers there waithing on me so we had a couple and talked about ole times before i headed back down 1291 to pick 109 north again headeding to Industy Tx where i fueled up to ok a right back on FM159 east and headed the 6 miles to the house, around 240 damn good miles today!

Sorry for your loss, but glad you got some time in the wind.  Sounds like a good day of reflection.

Sounds like a good ride.......you can't go through Fresburg and not see some pretty country.
