After I posted I went back to the web site and watched / listened to the video with the full pipes on the bike. I STILL want one. Well, with a disc brake or 2 up front please

Wow, that sound is better than a Harley! It sounds like a 180? degree Triumph twin with just a hint of a V8.
I'm not sure about the old Triumph's, Paul, were they 180 or 360 twins? At any rate back in 1948, I always liked the sound of the Triumphs. Retarding the spark on them at idle resulted in hearing each cylinder fire, alternating from one muffler to the other. I also note that its the classic Brit Burman tranny, right side, up for first. I always did like that on my Matchless. In a speed contest (not that I did) it was a lot easier to stomp on the shift lever to go UP through the gears.
Beautiful machine. Makes me wish that I had my Matchless 500 thumper back even with the hard tail frame and the Prince of Darkness. Thanks for a great post!
