Few questions for cleaning and maint

Didn't have that much of an issue with the 76 cb750 just had to wash it and hit the tank and side covers with some turtle wax once a year and you were done in 15 min.
what to clean and wax with?
chrome cleaner?
windshield?
What weight oil? Don't intend to restart the great debate. Figure to use mobile 1 and mobile 1 filter. I figure if mobile 1 is good enough for my old ford truck and my 1911 it should be good enough for my motorcycle.

Turtle wax synthetic on the paint the chrome and my windshield and the wheels and the headlight cover. I've tried other stuff-keep coming back to this. RIDE SAFE.

Lemon or Orange Pledge for touchups or cleaning the windshield.... try it, it works, and its alot cheaper than the Spray on wipe off waxes out there and does a good job. I actually keep a can in the saddle bag to do the windshield... and never paper on the windshield! It will scratch quite a bit. Microfiber cloths also do a great job and are lint free for the most part.
I only wash the bike when needs it, like after a long ride or in the rain..... don't want to wipe visible dirt on the paint or especially the windshield!
Once or twice a year I give it a full detail polish with Meguires cleaner wax. It takes of the build up off on paint and chrome. Then the Pledge for a finish/shine wax. But NEVER use an abrasive polish (almost every polish) on the windshield or clear plastic, as it will leave fine scratches that the wax might cover up for a while, but it will still be scratched and hazed with repeated use. Also be careful of "Clear Plastic" polishes... they often have an abrasive in them that can scratch overtime.
Sorry to be long winded, But I don't ride a dirty bike, but I also don't waste time making it look good.

Meguires synthetic! Mobil 1 15w50 synthetic! Mobil 1 oil filter! Don't turn a hose loose on your bike if you can help it, wash it by hand taking small areas at a time. It may take an hour or so by the time you get the wax off, but she's going to look terrific,

Lucas slick mist
keeps a coat of wax on everything and makes the bugs easy to wipe off.
