No biking but spent some time on Andros Island, the largest of the chain. Not many roads, not many places to go. Plus they drive on the wrong side of the road mostly with LH drive American cars... go figure.
Riding down to Key West is a real hoot & other than the commercial crap & condos the terrain is pretty much the same. Riding the Everglades is a neat only-in-Florida experience that I recommend.  cooldude

You can rent bikes over there. The roads aren't that great anyway.
I lived in Nassau for about 7 years and I remember the roads well.......

I go to Nassau several times a year, New Providence Island, Paradise Island/Atlantis complex, shopping downtown. Would not recommend riding a motorcycle there. Scooter rentals are available, bicycles, and private taxi cabs/limos. Traffic is a mess on a good day. Driving there is an experience. Parking even worse downtown.
Easier to go with the flow, enjoy the shops, scenery, fishing(charter) and weather. It's a great place to relax and charge the batteries.
I have not been to the other islands in many years.

I worked in the Bahamas for 10 years and would not recommend the average person driving a car there, let alone a bike. Not enough room on those islands to warm the bike up from one end to the other. The roundabouts injure many tourists as well as the left side driving.
However an Enduro would probably work well and handle those crappy roads much better.
We wrecked one or two cars every six months and the Govment would just fly in more for us on a
C-130 cargo plane.

The ride to the Keys, Key West is a real nice ride and a nice destination. There is quite a bit to do down there. I have made this trek myself many times on a bike. Going to be pretty hot at the end of September but you will enjoy the trip.

This is an event that you should only take a VERY open minded wife or girlfriend to...believe me on that. I...uhhh...know some folks who have gone to this quite a few times. What a freaking blast it is...so I have heard... Roll Eyes

The Gay Pride issue has only recently become a part of it. Back when this all started, that was hardly the focus. Halloween, Mardi Gras and a really good weekend at the Playboy Mansion was more accurate.

Look at all our options on this one. I we take a cruise from there, is there a place that I could park the bike (in safety) instead of at the pier? Don't want to do that, you guys understand.

About the only cruise I would take is out to the fort. Can take a flight out there as well.
You would have more fun hiring a guide for some fishing. It can be excellent down there.
