Anyone in Florida have a used engine guard sitting on a shelf gathering dust? Something to powder coat is what I have in mind. Copying to the classifieds before I go on the hunt.

Thanks in advance.

I don't have one, but are you looking because yours is bent or just rusty?  I have had real good success with some 0000 steel wool pads with soap inside that you can buy at Big Lots.  They are $0.95 per box of 10 or 12 I forget how many are in the box.  I had some surface rust on a chrome grill cover from the condensation in the unheated work shop where the bikes live.  Give it a try if that is the reason for your quest.  They are in the cleaning section near the Comet etc. in a box, seems like it is orange and blue or green.  You need to keep a good wax on after using them, although the pads do have some sort of wax/cleaner in them.  Good luck.

I Have A Set Of Engine Guards That Came Off Of An Interstate That Have Some Flat Spots In Them That Would Be A  Good Candidate For Being Patched And Painted Or  Powdercoated. If You're Interested Let Me Know. You Can Call Me @ 352-625-6FourFour8.

Are you looking for both pieces or just one side. A couple years ago I bought a brand new set...both sides, for an I/S(which is different) and only cost $153. Most on ebay and private sale are as much or more...and are usually with some damage.
