I've been kicking around the idea of changing out the stock bars on my tourer.I'd like to keep similar bends and grip placement but move up to a beefy looking bar.Anyone had a bad experience with these?I've always thought the stockers looked kinda "twiggy" on this bike.

You'll really start yourself a project.  Your risers, grips, throttle control, master cylinders and switch housings won't fit properly & some will just need to be replaced with something (not Honda) that will fit.........

Reason being, at the center where the clamp goes is reduced to 1" on most bars even though they're oversized. Same for the area where the controls and grips go...also are reduced to 1". Go to Wild1 and look at their factory seconds. You save a bunch and I couldn't tell where the blem was. I picked up a bar from them that is almost the same as the Valk OEM bars. Had to change my risers to less pullback since the Wild1 bars I got had more pullback built in. Otherwise, the rise and width are almost identical. It's been 3-4 years since I changed mine but believe their WO512 is the model I got. I eventually changed the controls over to HD with the wires run inside the bars. Bought the entire set fully chromed, switches and everything for less than what it would have cost me to have my OEM master cylinders and switch boxes chromed.
