I've having a hard time finding the number for you for the 13 inch also. I have them on my bike so I'll try to do some digging for you.
They also sold each length with standard springs and Heavy Duty springs...I'm forgetting what the weight cut off was, possibly somewhere about 230 lbs(rider weight).

I think part of the problem is the 440's might have been discontinued and replaced with another series.

Maybe someone else will chime in....in the meantime, I'll keep looking.

Update:
I found this advertisement...not affiliated, etc...etc...but it does list the number for ya. And the ad does say they're discontinued and limited to stock on hand. With the number for the ad, you might want to shop around and see if they are cheaper...or decide you want a different...or current model. Good luck!

I wish they still manufactured the 440s, mine are leaking.

The number you're looking for is 440-4221C (heavy duty, 13", chrome), unfortunately you won't find them anywhere.  If you'll settle for black, you might be so lucky as to find a 440-4221B.  I guess the 430-4221 is another good heavy duty 13" shock, again for luck finding them in chrome.  The Works gas shocks look beautiful, and should for $700.  Choices are narrowing for new shocks.

The 440 was replaced by the 444 but Progressive says it has clearance issues on our Valkyries.  bentwrench on our forum says differently; he is successfully running 444s and may pipe in if he sees this.

Yes,I have been running the 444s(HD stock length) for a while with no problems.Progressive actually replaced my 440s with these. We'll see after my next trip through Maine if the 444s hold up better than the the 440s did, that's where I killed my 440s both times.

Is this the 444 that you are currently using on your Valkyrie?

I am leaning toward the Progressive 430's but they only have the black and chrome in the 13" HD, I am 5'9" 180 but my wife is 220, would you recommend me staying with the HD's or would the 13" non-HD work?

You need HD if she goes with you.  You'll just need to accept a stiffer ride solo.

Std springs would need to be turned all the way down when two-up (and maybe still bottom out on bumps), then up for every solo ride.  That's a PITA.

If you bought 'em and can find a receipt, they will rebuild 'em free.

They should be fine with HD springs.  Shorter always give less travel and comfort, but new 12.5s should feel almost exactly as high as old OE 13s, just stiffer and better.
