Great day for a ride to Lake Harris Hide Away.

The morning started out great, I was the first one at the meeting place. Really!   It was a good feeling to get out in the wind after a long lay off, a bit chilly this morning but warmed up fine. Made it home around 4:00pm. Getting on/off the bike was a challenge with my trunk mounted, but I managed. Was good to see Bill out today, looks like the healing process is taking place but probably too slowly for his liking. Was good to see everyone, many I hadn't seen since our breakfast meeting in Brooksville in September.

Don't know if any of you noticed the group of ladies at the table just behind us. When we got up to leave, I had to stop and flirt with them a bit....all had a good giggle. Told them they had best not get too rowdy and they all pointed to what appeared to be the oldest and told me she was the worst one. My kind of gal!   They were passing around pitchers of beer so the timing was about right, I was almost ready to pass up the ride to Yalaha Bakery.

It was great to see you and everyone else John, I am glad you made the ride and led us to Yalaha.

Oh, I remember that you led the way to lunch as well, first one to order, first one to eat

The table of girls behind us kept talking about Billy.  His charm was endless.

It was great seeing every one today, nice weather for a get together. I really appreciate Doug going the extra miles to bring me there. I have been getting a little stir crazy sitting around the house with occasional trips to the surgeon that do nothing to help.

Was a great day indeed. Only got in about 70 miles today but the weather was so nice. Could have been a little warmer while we were eating..I know some folks got a little cold (only heard minor whining about the weather being too cold..forget who it was though..). Doug, thanks so much for bringing Bill over with you, and for the hat. Bill, your recovery is coming along so well. It was nice of you to join us today. God really does listen to our prayers. Was nice seeing Gil, BillyBoy and James. So nice to get out and ride with John a little today too. Bert, tell Sherrie we missed her, especially since Rick and Kristie and Eddie and Kim all came over together. Was nice meeting our newest rider, Rich. I think he's a lurker so..Welcome Rich, hope to see you again soon. Jack, I'm glad you got home safe and to a "Happy" wife! Thanks for riding over my brother. The dessert ride was special, wish all of you could have gone Now can't wait for the pictures to show up. Thanks everyone for a really great day and for being such a great group of people. Missed you Larue!

Soooo jealous! Even though we had an awesome ride Saturday by ourselves. We would have liked to join in on this one but running the sound system at the church is game changer for Sundays. Now, can we do this ride again some sunny Saturday?   Please....

I just finished the pics and closed the VRCC before saving the post. I clicked the wrong area on the tile (Windows-8) and closed the VRCC accidently.
