Getting ready to go for a ride, started bike to let it warm up. It was Idling normally then just died. I hit the starter button but nothing happened. I noticed the neutral light wasnt on. I put it in neutral and it started. No one was in the garage but me and I was about 5 feet away on the right side so I couldnt have touched the shift lever..........HMMMMM

Any one else ever have this happen?

I had the exact same thing happen once. I've never understood why it did that.

Happens to my Interstate all the time.
I know of at least six other Valkyries that do the same thing.
I believe that they may not be fully in Neutral.

Just a guess, but I'm thinking it's something similar to that.

Maybe the neutral indication sensor (or gear position... whatever it's called) was just barely on, and a little warming while idling made it lose the neutral indication??
