I will be doing the nutcage mod in preperation for my new Darkside, can't wait!
Questions...
  1. Can the old nuts be reused, or are they part of the cage I will be removing?
  2. If nuts need to be replaced, what size are they?
(so I can get them before I start)
Thanks Daniel Meyer, for all your helpful contributions in

When we did mine we knocked the cage out, got a carriage bolt that we put in from the back side and then added an acorn nut........

We got the bolt after it was apart.........

To answer your question, yes.

You can use the nuts from the cages.

However they are square nuts.
